Award-winning student garden project at Haverhill H.S.
The founder of a gardening program tailored to students with special needs at Haverhill High School has been named one of this year’s Kale Blazer award recipients by the nonprofit Massachusetts Farm to School organization. Read more.

“Gryphon Market” at Greater Lowell Technical High School
The project, a partnership between the school and the Merrimack Valley Food Bank, set up a pantry of various foodstuffs — School officials and leaders of the Merrimack Valley Food Bank gathered earlier this month to mark the occasion with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony. Read more.
