’Tis the season to celebrate the transformative power of learning.
Our students have both the capacity and the willingness to learn.
Cultivating their ability to learn and building their skills is our job as educators.
Last year JFY enrolled 5979 students. We provided assessment and targeted online instruction in English Language Arts and Mathematics in grades 6 through 12. To accomplish this, we provided 246 teachers with training and ongoing support throughout the school year. The delivery of online instruction through classroom teachers is the methodology of our JFYNet blended learning.
“What I like most about the JFYNet program is that I can introduce the day’s lesson to the whole class. Then the online instruction allows me to spend more time with individual students or small groups during classroom time to give them the attention they need while other students are moving along at their own pace. That’s my idea of blended learning! I can also see right away if I need to make any changes in my lesson plans, and I can contact my JFYNet specialist for assistance anytime.”

So far in the first quarter of this school year, our enrollment tops 7000 – the largest it has ever been. Second semester enrollments could take us over 10,000.
