#GivingTuesday comes on the heels of Thanksgiving, reminding us that we have many people to be thankful for.
TEACHERS
JFYNet academic support could not work without teachers. Last year, we partnered with 248 teachers across the state. They are the ones in the classroom who put our curriculum and measurements into practice. Without them, JFYNet would be just a diagram. Are we thankful for them? You bet.
STUDENTS
Between students enrolled in ELA and in math, we had 5979. Needless to say, without their diligent work we would not have our stellar results to show. That’s another big round of thanks.
ADMINISTRATORS
We work with department heads, academic deans, principals, assistant principals, registrars, budget directors and other administrators who keep all the interlocking gears in a school turning. They get our thanks too.
PARENTS
The group at the foundation of the entire school community. They are the bedrock who create and nurture the children, and also pay the taxes that support the entire educational enterprise. We can’t begin to thank them enough.
So, in asking for support of JFYNetWorks, we’re really asking on behalf of all these folks whom JFY’s programs benefit. Our programs are demonstrations of thanks to all of them.
