AIMS Webinar Helps Students Achieve Success
Unlocking College Readiness: The JFYNetWorks AIMS Model
At JFYNetWorks, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. That’s why we’ve developed this webinar about our AIMS model: Assess, Instruct, Measure, and Support. In this video, we break down each of these components and show how they work together to improve college readiness. By the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of how AIMS can help students excel—and how you can implement AIMS in your own school or program.
Webinar Highlights
First Step: Assessment

Our first step in the AIMS model is Assessment. Before we can effectively teach students, we need to measure their current skill level. Our diagnostic student appraisals identify what students know and point to key areas for improvement in the core subjects of math and English. These measurements ensure that our lessons are directed and tailored to individual student needs, helping students receive the support they need.
After We Measure, We Help Instruct
Once we have gathered data on students’ current skills, instruction can begin. JFYNetWorks uses a blended learning approach that combines teacher expertise with adaptive online resources. We meet students where they are to ensure they don’t feel overwhelmed by material they have not yet covered. Whether a student needs to build foundational skills or push ahead to more advanced levels, our instructional tools adapt to meet their needs. Working with involved teachers is essential to student success. With the AIMS program, they have actual timely data to guide instruction.

Continued Student Measurement Keeps Students On Track

Teaching is a continuous, ongoing process. Keeping students on the right track requires constant measurement. We continuously track student progress and share information with teachers and administrators to ensure students are on the right path. With regular and easy-to-read progress reports, teachers can quickly identify students who need additional support. This allows for appropriate adjustments to instruction and prevents students from falling behind.
Teachers Are Not Abandoned: We Provide Continuous Support
The final step in the AIMS model is support. Teachers don’t always have the time to review student achievements or constantly tailor individualized instruction. The Learning Specialists at JFYNetWorks provide online and on-site support to teachers as needed. We want to ensure that teachers have the tools and strategies to implement the AIMS model successfully. Our strong support system ensures that students, teachers, and schools have everything they need to achieve long-term success.

HOW AIMS CAN HELP…
Administrators

Administrators can monitor student progress based on schoolwide data, grade level data, specific class data or individual student performance data. Administrators can access information in real time to ensure students are on track to find success.
Teachers

Teachers receive immediate formative data to help individualize student instruction before or during class sessions. AIMS removes the guesswork when teaching, and also the need to wait until the next assessment to determine if students are progressing toward skill-building goals.
Students

Students often report that their greatest hindrance to learning is the pace of instruction: for some students, the pace is too fast and assumes knowledge they have yet to learn, meaning they cannot keep up; for others, the pace of instruction is too slow, and they get bored and become unengaged. AIMS ensures students are met where they are in the learning process, helping them stay engaged and continually moving toward success.
